Midge is a multidisciplinary scientist and artist working with fungi.
Born in the UK and now based in Amsterdam, they study the cellular biology of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, ancient asexual symbiotic fungi found inside the roots of nearly all land plants.
Their scientific study informs their artistic practice, where they are interested in internal processes, cycles and turnover.
